Questions

1. How does this technology differ from RO (reverse osmosis)?
Completely different than RO, it removes everything but minerals. High chloride areas will still need RO or ion exchange resin. On the other hand, RO cannot be used on certain water sources without pre-treatment. i.e. RO will fail on water with high levels of iron, >0.3mg/l, while Ionic Absortion Micro-filtration will work fine. Same with bacteria, viral, & cysts: 99.9% removal (safe for swamp water!)-- while RO cannot accomplish this alone.
