Comparison of models JP108 and JP109
with the Jupiter Melody
The JP108 Aquarius and 109 Orion are the new residential water ionizers from Ionways, the world leader in water ionization. These two models now
represent state-of the art water ionization. They are essentially the
same machine (see below for the differences), but they go beyond the Melody Water Ionizer with these new features:

- Extends the life of the electrodes (the
heart of any ionizer) by a factor of three, through Ionways' newly patented "Double Automatic Reverse Cleaning" system, and by platinum mesh titanium construction. The result: elimination of scale (mineral) build-up on the electrodes, and a stronger, more durable machine. Learn more.

- Provides you with a set pH level. The
first water ionizers that automatically adjust flow rate to ensure correct pH -- every time you use it. An automatic water pressure control (computer controlled) maintains constant water pressure giving you a consistent pH level. As a result, the flow rate is a little slower than the Melody.

- Extended range of pH (alkalinity) and O.R.P.(antioxidant ability) Units have been tested on a variety of source waters throughout North America and demonstrated higher pH and ORP levels than the Melody. (Note: The pH results from any water ionizer depend upon your source water. Generally speaking, harder water will produce more alkaline results.) The increased antioxidant power is the result of platinum-titanium mesh over the electrolysis plates.

LED display. Both measure filter life with unprecedented accuracy.
If you are on a private well: Water ionizers can be used with most well water. The two most common problems found

The Orion and Aquarius are for on-the-counter use, not designed for undersink installation.
Ionways ionizers are CSA and UL Certified in North America and the only Certified water ionizers in Europe approval and thus the only one admitted to the European Economic Community.
